Thank you for your earlier answers the client asking for more clarifications.
The client ask the follows.
The answers you sent below are still not clear.
1. How are the LMS codes imported into the TNG system. We have an export file (attached) can you use that to import those codes into your system. The format is “Code”, “Description”, “You can Ignore” Whenever a new matter is opened the details are inserted into this file as well as when any changes to the matter details are made. The file will be located in the DsApps\Interface\Exports folder.
2. So the client needs to manually copy the file from your fixed location to a location that LMS can read it? Is my understanding correct. I presume you create the file on the server in the program files folder which LMS does not have access to?
We have already written the import of the transactions based on the format you have provided but we need the answers above before we can issue the interface.
Regards

- TNG is a telephone management system that receives call details from the PABX system.
To make the call details presentable for reports, we need to associate the pin codes and exension numbers, etc. TNG thus has features to add manually or import user details (pin codes), extension details and telephone numbers (for its phone book).
It can also re-import raw.data(call details in the format the PABX sends it off). For example if file corruption took place. In the odd instance that this might happen, you need to make provision in your software not to load duplicate call details to LMS.
To import the LMS pin codes and user names in TNG, you must use our standard file format, file name and file path - see forum link: How do I import user names and pin codes into TNG?
NOTE:
- TNG does not export pin code, extensions or telephone list to a file for 3rd party soft ware.
TNG exports the call details to an export file or to TCP port - refer to topic
TNG export options
- While TNG is in the import pin codes state, you cannot go to the 'Configure Users' sceen in TNG and make any manual changes.
- If LMS creates a pin code file, then they can create a script or conversion program to take the file, rename it, format it as per TNG requirements and write it out in the tng import folder. TNG will import the file entries and move the file away to the processed folder. Once a new file is place in the location, it will be imported and the process repeats.
