Applications verify

Postby juanm » Tue Apr 08, 2014 1:33 pm

Good day all

Please would you be able to verify whether TNG would clash with any software which is listed on the attached docs which specify the apps running on our customers pc. The TNG keeps disconnecting. I suspect something must be causing this.

Regards

Juan

Question:
1.) Does the TNG service stops running or is the buffer not detected?

TNG requires the following to run and be accessible via webadmin:

  • TNG runs as a service.

We suggest setting the recovery mode of the tng service to restart for all instances,
    see screenshot:
    tng-services-restart.jpg

  • To access TNG via webinterface we use port 7080.

This port number can be changes if other application is usig it.

    Stop the TNG service.
Edit the tng.ini file (in the folder C:\Program Files\Datatex\tng\):

    Code: Select all
    [WEBSERVER]
    defaultport=7080

Save the tng.ini with the new port number.
    Start the tng service.

Thanks for your feedback Belinda!

The TNG buffer shows that it disconnects when you log into the software.
If i were to follow the same procedure as you posted will this assist me?
