Hi. Recently we had to restart Asterisk, and since then TNG refuses to process the peer list via the manager interface. TNG logs:

And as a result TNG never processes CDR log files. This setup has been working fine for months! Please help.

Please try the following:

  1. Upgrade to the latest version of TNG for Asterisk.

    For latest version of TNG for Asterisk (as of 2014-04-25) refer to download 'tnglive-update-1_1_1_12' in the 'Updates' section in forum post: TNG Update 1.1.1.12

  2. Configuration for dial plan and peerlist entries logged,
    please see forum post: Re: TNG Not Importing Data

    NOTE: The 'writetimeout' value will be different depending on each system and setup, you might have to play around with this setting.

Hi. We've increased writetimeout to 20000 and it hasn't helped. The 1.1.1.12 TNG update only shows changes to the Telkom rates, so I don't see how it'll fix this. Please advise.

Is it possible to disable the AMI interface? We just use TNG to rate CDR logs.

TNG needs to connect to the AMI to translate the call details correct.

Are you still running the same version of Asterisk or did you upgrade?

There are no configuration changes or TNG updates I can suggest.

Can you schedule a restart of the Asterisk software.

Asterisk and TNG have both already been restarted multiple times in different sequences to try rectify this problem, with no success. I'm guessing this is a software bug, so you need to come up with a method of debugging where TNG and AMI are miscommunicating.
