Dear Themba

There was a change made in the exchange file between versions 1.1.0.5 to 1.1.1.11. The exchanges file must be rebuild. Development will need to schedule time for it. I do not have a release date yet.

I will release the update to you as soon as it is available.

The only work around until then will be to use 1.1.0.5. Note that the last TNG rates release for Swaziland was TNG Version 1.0.7.0 (02 February 2011). The rates for 1.1.0.5 and 1.1.1.11 is thus the same.

Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Dear Themba

We apologize for the delay.

We have the exchange files that you can test. Once you are happy that the TNG starts up and that the rates are correct, we can build an update and install for version 1.1.1.11 for Swaziland.

Steps:

  1. Stop the TNG service.
  2. Navigate to 'C:\Program Files\datatex\tng'.
  3. Move all the exchange files(with file extensions '.dat', '.txt','dll') to a backup folder - for example todays date. Do a cut and paste, not copy.
    tng-exchange_files.jpg
  4. Unrar the file, password is 'datatex':
    tng_sz_exchange-ver_1_1_1_11.rar
  5. Save the files in the folder 'C:\Program Files\datatex\tng'.
  6. Check that you now have the exchange '.txt' and '.dll' files in the 'tng' folder.
  7. Start the TNG service.
  8. On startup it will build the new exchange file. Allow time for buffer search and build of exchange file, then log in. The first time it starts up it will take a bit longer than usual.
  9. Log into TNG and do a test cost calculation to see if you are happy with the rates:
How do I do a Call Cost Calculation in TNG?

Thanks

Belinda

Themba

I contacted you at the office and they gave me your cell number - there was no option to leave a voice message.

Did you manage to test the TNG update file?
Is it working for you?

The issue of no calls will not be related to the upgrade. Most clients have upgraded and their calls are logging.

You will need to trouble shoot.

If the buffer is detected, you can refer to forum post:
No call records loading, but the TNG buffer is connected
