Corruption of the data that needs to be displayed:
- 1. TNG being killed off and INI and DATA files not being able to write our properly.
2. The PC/VM that contains TNG, is turned off and not shut down properly to allow the data to be written out properly.
3. The Call list not displaying could also be as a result of an valid HTML character appearing in a Username, Extension or other details. E.g “<” or “>”
To try and resolve:
Run a report for the current day and check that there is no funny characters on the report. If there are strange characters, the data was corrupted somehow. This needs to be investigated and resolved.
Browser compatibility issues:
- 1. When using IE, there are Compatibility settings that you can enable to allow the page to be displayed properly.
2. If the IE is locked down not to displayed JavaScript fully, it may not work.
3. Antivirus scanning of the pages before it is displayed can also cause issues. The Call list page is redisplayed every 2 seconds. If it takes too long to display the page may possibly never display if it is keeps scanning the next iteration that needs to be displayed.
4. Proxy Settings. The Call list is a local page and if it tries to display this through a proxy, it may be blocked or very delayed.
To try and resolve:
1. Try a different browser to see if the issue re-occurs.
2. Disable the Antivirus and check the screen again.
3. Disable or by pass the proxy for the local IP (127.0.0.1 and the PC name, whichever is used to access the reports.
