To integrate with Asterisk you must run the TNGLive for Asterisk,
see forum post for install TNG Install Files

NOTE: Datatex only supports the TNGLive for Asterisk on Linux version. You must install it on the same PC as the Asterisk.

Please refer to forum post for setup of Asterisk:
TNG and Asterisk: Suggested setup

If your Asterisk does not have the option to create the standard output master.csv file then TNGLive for Asterisk will not be able to translate the call details for reporting.

SUGGESTION: You can try and use the following post to create your own script to dump data from the Asterisk database from time to time: How to import Asterisk DB data to TNG4*.

NOTE: This suggestion is not supported by Datatex.

Hi Belinda,

we are not using the Asterix method with this device.

Odette sent me the required dll file for the mypbx standard v4 last year.

I need that same dll.

Good day Kyle

Please find the attached dll and brief explanation of what was done

We conducted tests on TNG with the PMyPBX_CSV.dll v2016.10.31.1 plugin and used the call records from the 20170426.csv file that you provided. The total amount of records within this file is 960 entries. We were able to simulate the issues you logged, we found that not all call records were translated by the plugin.

The faults identified are listed below:

1. TNG did not process call records if line/trunk field was blank,
2. Internal call records were not processed - due to line/trunk field being blank,
3. Duplicate records were not processed,
4. Unanswered calls and or low duration call records were not processed.

The following fixes were implemented:

1. The plugin has been updated to add the word 'line' in the line/trunk field if the field is blank,
2. Internal call records - refer to comment in no.1,
3. Duplicate records are loaded - time value for records differ by seconds (e.g. 16:05:27 - 16:05:49).
Note: The csv file only shows hhmm e.g. 16:05 in time field, but once processed TNG displays hhmmss e.g.16:05:27 in the time field.
4. Unanswered/Zero duration call records will be processed – provided that the "Minimum Call Duration (seconds)" option is set to zero (not enabled).

Further findings:
We found that the unanswered/zero duration call records were discarded due to having the "Minimum Call Duration(seconds)" option enabled in TNG - General Settings - Minimum Call Duration (seconds). When enabled, the configured amount of seconds will be subtracted from the duration of all the call records loaded into TNG. Please ensure that this is NOT enabled - set to zero(0) for all call types (Local, Long Distance, International, Cellular, Other).

Attached is the updated version of the PMyPBX_CSV.dll v2017.05.09.1 plugin. You will need winrar to extract the file. The password to open the rar file is ‘datatex’. I’ve also included a TNG report and the export file reflecting all 960 records (as per csv file).

DLL FILE
PMyPBX_CSV.rar

Password is "datatex"
