TNG data gone

Good day Support,

Can you please assist we are having issues with tng again, most of the data is gone, like departments information and user details, is there a way we can get them or do we need to re-create them

It sounds like data corruption.

Best option is to re-create the files.

Hi Belinda,

With this client, we do not have the tnguser.dat and the tnguser.dat files, so what do we do in that case

Dear Refiloe

Please move the available files as per forum post and then follow the import steps for

pin codes (user names):
How do I import user names and pin codes into TNG?
or
extensions (extension names):
How do I import extensions from a file into TNG?

The import will created the files:
  • tngusers.dat or tngext.dat
  • tngdept.dat

RE phone conversation 2019-09-04,
the data is missing due to file corruption,
therefore the files must be blanked and re-created as per steps in the link provided previously.

Hi Belinda,

If you can check on the screenshot that I have sent and the icon highlighted in yellow it keeps flickering and when hovering over it gives the following message "Asterisk is not connected"

Is there anything that we need to do from our end,

Hi Belinda,

Please note that when I try to tick "Import files from file" and after applying changes, the changes don't take any effect at all,

I log in using tech password,

Can someone please remote to my PC so we can try and figure this out,

Dear Refiloe

Your TNGLive is in Free mode (not locks on some functions).

On HOME page,
click on TNG Registration and Activation.
Click on CHECK ACTIVATION button.
