When DTP is calculating ring times

When DTP is calculating ring times, why do some extensions have ring times and others not?

DTP only calculates ring times for external calls. On the Panasonic TAPI,
transferred calls are considered internal. Only calls answered by an
extension, or made by an extension will have ring times. Transferred calls
will not.
