When logging into TNG, the software should detect the TNG buffer automatically.
If the buffer was not detected, you will see a red flashing icon with a warning message,
"Invalid buffer or Buffer not found"
Please follow these steps:
- Option one:
Click on the 'Home' icon
In the middle section is a panel with icons, please click on the 'View buffer info' icon
A window will appear with Buffer Commands and below Buffer Response
Click on 'Find Buffer' in the Buffer Response section
A search for the buffer will take place (this may take a while)
Once complete, it should now display 'Buffer found on Com'
Please close the window and click on the 'Home' icon. The error should now be cleared. - Option two:
Close TNG
Click on Start -> Control panel -> Administrative tools -> Services
Search for the TNG service
Stop the TNG service (wait a few min)
Start the TNG service
You should now be able to log on to TNG and the software should detect the buffer.
