No TNG login page, cannot display page

Postby Belinda Frick » Tue Feb 14, 2012 10:36 am

My TNG service is running.
I can see call data is being logged (in export folder).
I cannot log into TNG, because I get an error message in Internet Explorer:
Page cannot be displayed.

  • This sounds like an access issue.

    • Your TNG is running and working, but you cannot log into your webpage. Please check your proxy and firewall settings, any network/access/restriction policies, anti-virus software, etc.

    • To access TNG you need port 7080 by default. This default setting can be changed.
      To see if your TNG is running on port 7080, check the tng.ini in the folder 'C:\Program Files\datatex\tng':

      tng-folder_ini.jpg

      Code: Select all
      [WEBSERVER]
      defaultport=7080

      The defaultport that is configured here is what you must use in your URL, for example
      http://127.0.0.1:7080
      where 127.0.0.1 is the IP/PC name of your TNG PC.

      If another application is using this port, you will need to change this port number. To change the port number, you must stop the TNG service, edit the tng.ini, save the tng.ini and then start the tng service.

  • We suspect that the problem could also occurred due to 'big' reports being pulled(for example scheduled reports, monthly detailed reports, etc.). To ensure the problem is not memory related, we suggest to change the percentage allocated for TNG Call Capacity to allow more memory available for processing (pulling reports, normal running of TNG, etc.). Set the call capacity to use less memory.

    For more details regarding Call Capacity and how to adjust it see forum post:
