or "SYS". If the buffer information is returned, the buffer is working.
Once you have determined that the buffer is in working order, close
all software connecting to it and open TNG. Allow time to search for the
buffer. It can take up to 10 minutes to verify.
Auto dump must be disabled and is by default. Never enable auto dump.
To disable auto dump use the command SAD 0.
The buffer is set to default values. The standard baud rate for PC's and
the PABX is normally 9600.
PC Baud Rate:
- If for some reason your buffer is not set to send at 9600, then you need to
change this via for example Hyper Terminal. The buffer command to set the
buffer to send at a specific baud rate to the PC is "SP " followed by
the baud rate. Please stick to 9600. The standard baud rate for a PC is 9600.
Make sure the PC is set to receive at 9600.
START -> CONTROL PANEL -> SYSTEM -> HARDWARE, Right-click on your comport number
and select Properties. Make sure the PC is set to receive at 9600.
PABX Baud Rate:
- The baudrate the buffer receives from the PABX at is set from within TNG.
Click on the "Home" page icon.
Click on the "General Settings" icon.
Use the technical login.
Under the "Communication Configuration" enter the baud rate for
the "PABX Baud Rate".
Click on "Apply in the "Communication Configuration" heading.
If it does not detect the buffer and you can log into TNG, check in
the log file.
