TNG & Astra BP: buffer locks and cause unlock of pin codes

The issue we are having is the following:

The internal buffer locks up after a while and then opens all pins an system up for abuse as soon as I reset the system it then starts downloading all the info to the TNG Buffer.

The explanation from the techs in the field is the following:

Apparently it’s what happens with the Astra and the TNG do not communicate with each other and after a while of not seeing anything it locks up. What they do on other TMS systems is to strap the cables together in order to give the Astra a false communication signal at all times.

Solution:

Use the standard Ericsson programming cable.
Strap pin 7 & 8 on the PABX side (orange to white of green and white).
