Question:
Explain what the difference is in interpreting results on a report which indicates a call outcome as I_transfer and I_forward. an example of such info can be seen when you run a report on switchboard, for all trunks.
Explanation:
The call actions available depends on the PABX and its features.
Example of Call Actions in general that a PABX can send off:

The Mitel PABX has a feature where you can configure your phone to forward a call to for example a cell phone if you are not in the office, you can also forward it to a landline number or other extension or device. These are I_Forward call actions.
If you answer an incoming call and then transfer it, the call actions will show as I_Transfer on the extension you transferred the call from(in this example the switchboard). Note that some PABX units can give the forward action of for the extension the call was forwarded to. You can make a test call of an incoming transfer to check this. Use the Transaction detail report to see the call action.
The basic difference between I_Transfer and I_Forward is that I_Transfer is an action by the operator and I_Forward is usually a configuration action.
