How do I recost calls in TNG?

TNG 1.0.7.0 and newer:

TNG has a trunk synchronization feature, but this DOES NOT APPLY TO RE-COSTING. It allows you to change the desciption of the trunk.

To re-cost:

    First check that the rates are correct:
      On the Home page select 'Cost Calculator' and do a test for the
      ratebook you configured under 'Trunk Configuration'. If the cost
      is correct then proceed.

    Click on the "trunk line configuration" page.
    • NOTE: if the default ratebook was used (trunks was not specified):
      you need to add all the trunks with the incorrect ratebook
      To see the trunk numbers go to the 'Report' page and pull a 'Trunk Utilization' report. Add the full trunk range displayed.
    • then you need to change the ratebook for each trunk to the correct ratebook:
        Select the rate book for the particular line you wish to recost.
        A calendar will pop up.
        Here you will click on the date FROM which TNG will apply these rates.
        Click on the "tick" on the calendar.
        Apply changes.
        TNG will recost the calls with the ratebook selected.
    Pull a report for the range and check if costing applied.

Versions older than TNG 1.0.7.0:

Log in to TNG with the admin login and password.
Click on the "trunk line configuration" page.
Select the rate book for the particular line you wish to recost.
A calendar will pop up.
Here you will click on the date FROM which TNG will apply these rates.
Click on the "tick" on the calendar.
Apply changes.

TNG will recost the calls with the ratebook selected.
