With this setting TNG for Asterisk still needs to connect to the AMI interface for the Dial Plan.
Settings to check:
- Call Capacity setting. If more than 4GIG memory set it to 10%.
- If Asterisk very busy and many calls is logged to the master.csv file, it will take some time to read in. This can also happen if TNG did not run for a while and the call details collected in the master.csv file. You can rename the master.csv file and let it create a new file to see if the startup time improves. If so, created smaller files from the renamed file and import them.
- If many extension on the dial plan, this will cause a delay in the startup when it tries to load the dial plan.

NOTE: If startup to connect to dial plan takes longer than 15 minutes then TNG cannot work with your Asterisk system. Ensure you are on the latest version of TNG for Asterisk and at lease version 1.1.1.13:
