License is invalid & your software stopped downloading calls

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Nov 15, 2010 1:27 pm

The message "Please note your license is invalid and your software has stopped loading calls.", points to something changing on the PC and therefore subscription has expired.

The message "Following ratebooks are invalid for your license information and the calls will not be costed:
za_telkom
za_vodacom_talk500
", will display if you loaded a ratebook that was released after the TNG version that you are running(subscription not up to date). To load the ratebook you need to get your subscription up to date.

ALSO SEE: When will TNG expire?

You must re-register TNG:

  • Stop/Start the TNG service/deamon or reboot the PC.
    Log into TNG.

  • If TNG still gives the error message:

    • If you have your .lic file that the TNG automated license system sent you previously, you can try and re-load it.

    • If it still shows the error message:

Do step 1 & 2 on the License Agreement page.

If the re-registration has been verified, then you will receive a file from the automated TNG license manager system. You need to upload this license file to validate your license.

You will not be able to upgrade your TNG if it is not registered.
Re-registration can take place once a year, if more than once it has to be verified manually.

Please note:

If you had to re-install TNG on another server you need to re-register. Registration is done once per year.

If you did not pay renewal fees after a year, TNG will display TNG as expired and show the expiry date on the License Agreement Page. It will still load calls.
