TNG must be connected to the buffer to load call data. The Integral 5 has the network option, but does not give off end of line characters that the TNG buffer can translate.
Required:
- Serial connection for the TNG Buffer to enable TNG to load calls.
- Network connection to the Integral PABX to receive call records.
- SMDRLink for Windows to connect to the PABX and make records available for TNG to receive via network option.
- TESTCOM program.

Install SMDRLink.

Configure SMDRLink to receive call records from the Integral PABX.

Please use the Integral plugin. It must be present in the folder 'C:\Program Files\Datatex\smdrlink'.

To find the terminating character for the call data string, please use our TESTCOM program. It is available on the TOPAZ CD in the EXTRA folder.

Note that SMDRLink for Windows must be stopped and started manually as explained later in this document.
Make some test calls and check that it is received in the detailed logs.

Only once you receive calls, please proceed.
Configure SMDRLink so that TNG can connect to it to receive call records.
Set 'TCP Server' to 'On'.
Set the 'TCP Listen Port' to match the "PABX port" configured in TNG (see TNG section).
Stop and Start SMDRLink to enable settings.
The SMDRLink service for Windows must be stopped and started manually.
XP: Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services, select
SMDRLink and click on STOP. Thereafter select SMDRLink and click on START. - TNG:
Configure TNG to connect to SMDRLink.
Log into TNG WebAdmin.
Select 'General Settings' from the 'Home' page.
You will need to enter the technical password, else the option
you need will be greyed out.
Configure TNG to use the PTopazPIPE.Dll as plugin.
Configure TNG to connect via 'Network' to the:
Set "PABX port" as the TCP port and
"PABX IP" as the IP address of SMDRLink.
Click on "Apply".
Make some test calls.You must be able to view them under the "Call List" page. If it does not display, please enable 'Log rawdata for the next hour' to see what is being received,
