Complete registration guide: TNG(with buffer) & TNG Asterisk

NOTE: This document refers to TNG(with buffer) and TNG for Asterisk up to version 1.0.7.7.

For TNG 1.1.1.8 and newer, please refer to post - How do I register TNG 1.1.1.6 or newer?

TNG for Asterisk expires after 30 days. You need to follow the steps under "License Manager".

Initial and Subscription Renewal Registrations.

Registering your TNG allows you to receive update notifications and
keep your system up to date with the latest program and rates changes
and releases. This will help ensure accurate billing and management
of your telephone expenses.

A minimal annual subscription fee is applicable which assure continuing
development and improvement keeping TNG an efficient and resourceful
software solution that will stay up to date with the latest technology.

TNG Initial (newly installed) Registration (Not applicable to TNG for Asterisk)

    Logon to TNG with the “admin” user name.
    Go to the License Page (Weighing Scale Icon)
    Scroll down to Registration Process and start by clicking the
    “Click Here” link in Step 1.
    Select to save the file to disk. Note that this must not be saved as a text file.
    Click on the email link in Step 2 and attach the file saved in
    Step 1 and send the email (register@datatex.co.za).
    The Datatex Registration Server will process your request and send you an email thanking you for registering TNG. The registration process is now complete and you can exit the license page.

PLEASE NOTE: If your initial registration is beyond the current subscription
expiry date, you will be informed by email and you can follow the steps to renew
your subscription if you wish to do so.


Subscription Renewal Registration or Purchasing of TNG for Asterisk

Logon to TNG with the admin user name.
Go to the License Page (Weighing Scale Icon)
Scroll down to Registration Process and start by clicking the
“Click Here” link in step 1.
Select to save the file to disk.
Click on the email link in step 2 and attach the file saved in
step 1 and send the email (register@datatex.co.za).
The Datatex registration server will process the email and send you an email
with payment details and a reference number. Make the payment and be sure to use
the supplied reference code as the reference on your payment. Once we have confirmation
of the payment, we will send you an email with a new license key file attached.
You can then continue with Step 4 on the license page.
Save the email attachment on your pc (please take note of the filename and the location)
and click on 'Browse' in Step 4. Select the file and click on 'Complete Registration' in Step 5.
Once the new license file is loaded, a window will appear stating that the registration was
successfull. The License page will display the new subscription expiry date.

PLEASE NOTE: If it takes you back to the login screen when clicking on Complete Registration,
it means that your session has timed out and you will have to login with “admin” and redo Step 4 and
5 on the license page.
