TNG Trunk configuration is cleared using Chrome.

Chrome 16 through 18 was tested and TNGLive(Free and Premium) up to version 1.1.1.2 is effected.

There is an issue when using Chrome to modify the Trunk configuration, where by a double submit is done by Chrome and this is wiping the configuration. The Trunk configuration is cleared when the second apply goes through.

If a ratebook was changed and a re-cost is applied, the re-cost is completed, but the configuration is still cleared.

We also managed to simulate this on the Extension Configuration page.

It is the double submit by Chrome that causes the configuration to be cleared.

  • Work around: Please use IE or Firefox for this configuration. Once configuration is done you can switch back to using Chrome as your browser.

  • TNG/TNGLive Version 1.1.1.4 and newer will have a work around implemented. NOTE: it has not yet been released.

    • TNGLive(Free and Premium)

Release notes for TNGLive Version 1.1.1.4 (08 February 2012)
        Changes:
        • Licensing changed so that subscription licensing can now be done over the phone.
        • Asterisk version replaced with TNGLive.
        • TNGLive can now be permanently activated.
        • Buffered TNG no longer stops loading calls if a buffer is not found, it only disables functionality the same as TNGLive.
        • Added work-around for an issue with the Chrome web browser where trunks are wiped out after applying settings. Problem seen on Chrome versions 16 and 18.
    • TNG(with buffer) version 1.1.1.4 has not been released yet.

NOTE: If you use TNG (with a buffer), you cannot upgrade to TNGLive. You need to run the TNG update with the Chrome fix - it will have the same version number.
