TNG Integration: Legal Suite

PLEASE NOTE: This document was written with reference to Legal Suite, but applies to all 3rd party software integration using a pin code or account code.

Question:

The client needs their TMS to integrate with “Legal Suite”.

They assign a code to a client that needs to reflect on the TMS and links to the billing in “Legal Suite” to bill the client.

Answer:

TNG has a standard output format, please see forum post:

TNG EXPORT FORMAT

This output can be used to integrate with any 3rd party software. You will need to get integration software to convert the standard TNG output to what the 3rd party software requires - in this case Legal Suite.

Please note:

  • TNG can support Pin and Account Codes - dependant on PABX features.

The Pin Code is the code used to give access to use the phone(dial out).
The Account Code is usually the code entered on the phone to identify the call made.

    • TNG does not export a pin code, but it does export the user name linked to the pin code. You can use the user name to access the call details for the pin code.
    • TNG export Account Codes. This is usually the code entered on the phone to identify the call made.
  • If you require 3rd party integration because you want to add a markup to calls, note that TNG has the feature to add a markup per department, see forum post:

Can I add a Markup in TNG?

Note: The extensions from where the calls are made must belong to the department the markup was configured for, else standard rates as per configured ratebook will be used.

  • For costing purposes, you can pull a Detailed report by Department and select the User Name/Account Code to be billed. This report can be e-mailed. You can also setup a schedule to e-mail the report, see scheduling forum post:

    TNG and scheduled reports/archiving reports
