- The dealer must be signed up with Datatex
(Datatex will provide a login and password for the Dealer webpage).
This access will allow the dealer to maintain their clients 'live' status.
NOTE: TNG clients must go via a dealer to activate TNG Live. - The Client's TNG PC must have internet access to be able to connect to 'activate.tnglive.co.za' and TCP outgoing port 80 must be allowed.
Steps:
- Log into your client's TNG.
While still in TNG Free mode it will have barred icons(yellow lock) for features not available in TNG Free.- Click on 'Activate TNG Live' icon on the Home page:
NOTE: When you mouse over the icon it will show 'Activate TNG Live'. The actual icon is a picture of a phone and coins, with the wording 'LIVE'. - Select the dealer name from the list.
If no dealer select DATATEX. - Enter the proxy settings - if required.
NOTE: This is only required if you use a proxy server. - Click on 'Check activation' button.
- It will display 'Registered, but not activated',
written just above the 'Dealer' section on the TNGLive page. - Click on the 'Register'/'Check Activation' button.
- Please log out of TNG and in again.
- Go to the TNGLive page, it will now show 'Activated:
NOTE: See 'Activated' written above the 'Dealer' section on the TNGLive page. - Click on 'Activate TNG Live' icon on the Home page:
- Log into dealer website with login and password provided via e-mail from Datatex.
