TNG invalid licence number

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Nov 15, 2010 8:46 am

OVERVIEW

This problem can occur when new hardware is installed on the PC after TNG has been installed.
TNG uses these settings to generate a license number and when new hardware is installed it conflicts
with the previously generated licence number. This will be addressed in a later version of tng.
(please check for version updates)

The temporary solution is to reinstall TNG and have it relicensed.

ALSO SEE SSL: How do I licence TNG?

This will also apply if TNG has been installed on a new PC.

HOW DO I RE-INSTALL TNG?

Stop the TNG service - click on Start -> Control panel -> Administrative tools -> Services
Delete the Datatex folder (C:\Program files\)
Remove the TNG program - click on Start -> Control panel -> Add or Remove programs
Install TNG from the cd
ALSO SEE SSL: How do I install TNG?

Please consult the complete TNG users manual available on the TNG CD in the HELP folder.

HOW DO I RE-LICENCE TNG?

ALSO SEE SSL: Complete registration guide for TNG standard and TNG asterisk.

Log into TNG and click on "License page" (Follow the steps on the license page:)
"Step 1" and save the installation file
"Step 2" and attach the installation file to register@datatex.co.za

As soon as you receive the new subscription file you may complete the registration.
