TNG Rates and configuring custom rates

Postby Belinda Frick » Thu Jun 20, 2013 3:47 pm

Overview:

The TNG install supplies standard ratebooks for some providers.

To see which ratebooks your install support refer to forum post:
    Which ratebooks does TNG have?

However we cannot supply and maintain all service providers and all packages per service provider. Some service providers also gives individual discounts per client. Therefore we have the Custom rates feature. This will enable you to maintain your own rates.

To configure your own custom rates you have 3 options:

  1. Custom rates:

This feature allows you to change the costing for the zone already in use in the existing ratebook selected as default ratebook. To setup custom rates see forum post: Zones to use for TNG and Custom rates

  2. Custom rates using the 'All_Custom.dll':

This feature allows you to change only costing for some zones and let all other calls be costed by a default rate, see forum post Re: Zones to use for TNG and Custom rates

  3. Custom rates using the 'All_Custom_Simple.dll':

This feature allows you to setup rates for some prefixes and all not configured will default to an existing ratebook as specified - Refer to forum post: TNG - Simple Custom Rate

NOTE:

If you want Datatex to configure a standard ratebook for you, you can log a request on the forum. You need to provide the information in the forum post - What is the requirements to setup TNG rates for my country?

If the request will be approved depends on how many other clients use the same provider and package. We only setup the standard ratebook for the provider.

If there is already a ratebook for that provider, then you will need to use it as a base and setup a custom ratebook with the options provided above.
