after upgrade Custom rates cost at zero

Postby Belinda Frick » Wed Jun 26, 2013 10:33 am

After upgrading my TNG to TNGLive 1.1.1.11 my custom rates costed at zero.

The custom rates was not included in the upgrade. You would have the same issue if you upgraded to version 1.1.1.11.

Steps for TNGLive 1.1.1.11 on Windows:

Download and unrar:
all_custom-for_1_1_1_11-Windows.rar

If you are running TNG for Asterisk, use the same steps as above:

    • with the 'custom.so' and
    • file path is '\opt\datatex\tng\rates\'
    Download and unrar:
    all_custom-for_1_1_1_11-Linux.rar
NOTE: Your custom ratebook will have the 'so' file extension (not dll).

We picked up an issue with the 'custom.so' file in the previous post.

Please use this one:
all_custom-20130719_linux.rar
Download and unrar, password is 'datatex'.

Place a copy of the 'all_custom.so' file into the following folders:
  1. /opt/datatex/tng/rates/customrate
  2. /opt/datatex/tng/rates/

Steps to install per existing custom ratebook:
  • Stop TNG deamon - See forum post: How do I stop and start the TNG service on LINUX?
  • cd to the /opt/datatex/tng/rates directory
  • rename the custom rate file with the ".so" extension to something else as a backup
  • Copy the attached file into the rates folder and rename it to the custom rate file with the ".so" extension
  • Start TNG deamon - See forum post: How do I stop and start the TNG service on LINUX?
  • Go to the Cost calculator and select your custom rate and enter a number. Check that that custom value works
Please note that the file names are case sensitive.
