Incorrect dates in TNG or TES exported CSV files

Postby Leon van Heerden » Thu Aug 01, 2013 3:17 pm

TES exports the CSV data in the format :
Code: Select all
d-m-yy hh:mm:ss

When Excel tries to import this format, it defaults to the Windows Regional Date Setting. The Default for South Africa is
Code: Select all
yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss

Some solutions to have the file import correctly in excel;
  • Change the short date value in your Windows regional settings to "dd/MM/yyyy" and then open the CSV file again.
  • Rename the CSV file to a TXT and use the data-columns function to load and then fix the data.
