How to add TNG to kaspersky exclusions

    Once TNG is installed we will add it to the exclusions.

    Right click on the bottom right icon with the kaspersky logo.
    Select Kaspersky internet security.

    The kaspersky dashboard will now display.
    Select the settings tab on the top right of the dashboard.

    We will select the Advanced Settings tab.

    Followed by Threats and exclusions.
    Click on the settings tab under the Exclusions field

    A new windows will pop-up which says Trusted Zone
    It will have two tabs Exclusion Rules|Trusted applications
    We will +ADD on the exclusion rules
    Select tab object and threat type.

    "Comment can be allow tng"
    Select where it says object.
    Now direct yourself to C:\Program Files\datatex\
    Include sub-folders
    Once done click OK.


    It will now add the rule to Kaspersky to not scan the datatex directory or tng.exe

    Where it says threat type type "tng.exe"

    Once done click ok and apply changes.

    The kaspersky dashboard will now display.
    Select the settings tab on the top right of the dashboard.

    Now in the protection center tab select Web Anti-Virus

    Click on the settings tab.


    You will have a new window open with the following headings.
    General|Safe Surf|Geo Filter|Trusted URL's

    Select trusted URLs
    Click on +ADD
    add the local address of TNG e.g. http://127.0.0.1:7080 (if you are on the local machine)
    add the IP address where the TNG is being hosted e.g. http://192.168.15.22:7080

    Once done click OK and apply changes.
