TNG Update 1.1.1.12

Postby Leon van Heerden » Tue Nov 12, 2013 6:17 pm

Please note that there are 2 updates. TNGLive and TNG, please ensure that you use the correct update for your installation.
Which update to use?
  • If you have a buffer connected, or a version prior to 1.1.1.1, you require the normal TNG Update.
  • If your TNG requires internet access, you don't have a buffer, and/or it states TNGLive on the header banner of your Web interface, you require the TNGLive update.
  • If you are running a TNG 4*, these 2 updates will not work on them. We will do a separate release and update this post. Also know that the TNG 4* is now only supported with an installation directly on the Asterisk server.

For Linux ("chmod +x" the file and run it to upgrade)
Right Click these files and select the Save option, not just click on them, it will try and display the file.
      • tng-update-1_1_1_12
      • tnglive-update-1_1_1_12

        To update for example 'tnglive-update-1_1_1_12':
        1. Right-click and save the file onto the Asterisk server.
        2. Navigate to folder where it was saved and use the command to make it an executable:
          Code: Select all
          chmod +x tnglive-update-1_1_1_12
        3. run the update:
          Code: Select all
          ./tnglive-update-1_1_1_12
    Install files

If you installed the wrong update:
Installing the TNGLive update on a TNG with a buffer, will put your TNG in Free mode with limited features. Please just run the Buffer upgrade to fix it.

Installing the TNG with buffer update on a TNGLive, will have the TNG searching for a buffer and never starting properly. Please just run the TNGLive update to fix it.
