TNG for Asterisk will expire within 30 days after installation. (Evaluation).
Asterisk is pc based, ensure that pc date is correct as this will reflect as the call date.
2.) TNG:
- TNG version prior to 1.0.3.0 with more than one network card.
- If one of the following files has been corrupted:
- tng.ini
tng.lic - Hardware change: If the network card has been changed.
- If TNG has been moved to another PC.
- If TNG was installed on a PC with a wireless connector and the wireless connector is removed, it cannot find the network card and will expire.
- If the TNG PC dates was incorrect on installation.
- When I installed my TNG the PC date was wrong, now TNG is expired.
- If you re-install TNG over an exsisting TNG.
Solution:
- You must register TNG.
See forum post: Complete registration guide: TNG(with buffer) & TNG Asterisk
NOTE: Ensure that the file attachment you send is "registertng.txt". The automated registration system expects the file in this format (text file, not for example html). - If it was already registered: Stop and Start the TNG service. See if it is now licensed.
- If you still get the same message, create a new registration file and send the registration file to register@datatex.co.za. Please do not stop/start the TNG service or restart the TNG PC until you have received the new license file and loaded it. TNG does checks to see if it is valid installation and this information is used in the registration file(e-mailed to us) to create your license file.NOTE: You do not need to stop/start the TNG service to activate the registration.
- As a last resort: Uninstall and re-install TNG, see forum post:
How do I install TNG on another PC, keeping all my call data/re-install on the same PC.
