TNG does not show all calls when pulling reports

Overview

Under the 'Date Selection' section, click on the icon of the calendar and clock (date-time picker). When selecting a date and time range to do a report, you will see that there are 2 options for time at the bottom of the popup window under the time selected (above the tick/under the 'From' time and above cross/under the 'To' time).

Only one of these options will be applied to your reports.

In more detail:

In the above screenshot we have it set from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59, this will ensure that the full days calls are included in the report selection. You can change this according to your report requirements, however take note of the 'Time Range' and 'Time Interval' option:

  • The first option is where the Time Intervals are used(circled in red above the tick in screenshot).
    - Lets say you want to see all the calls between 13:00 and 14:00 every day.
    - This is a total of 60 minutes worth of calls for each day that TNG would try and accumulate.
  • The second option is the Time Range(circled in red above the cross in screenshot).
    - From the first date and time to the last date and time, every single call in between will be reported.

NB: TNG remembers your last settings between logins, so if you used the time interval once and didn't change it back to time range, then you can get unexpected results.

If you don't need the time facility, it is still going to be used. Make sure it is always set to 'Time Range' to include all calls for your date range.
