It might be that your recording is indeed
saved, but that you are not searching
for it correctly. If you want to know how
to narrow down your search or if you first want
to go through the steps on how to find a recording
SEE: SEARCHING FOR AN ONYX RECORDING
Else if you are convinced that your recording
does not exist it might be because of:
Your call duration was less than the
time specified in your SETTINGS tab.
A SETTINGS tab is situated at the top of
your ONYX program. Click on it. Third from
the top on your left hand side is a an
option:
"Do not save recordings shorter than X seconds."
It might be that your recording did not exceed
the amount of seconds specified there. You can
the seconds by changing it and clicking on the
"SAVE SETTINGS" button in the bottom right hand
corner.
You did not click SAVE after the recording
You will ONLY need to click save after a recording
if the "Prompt to save recordings" option is ticked.
So if this setting was ticked before your recording
took place it might be that you did not respond
to the form that popped up at the end of the
recording. (The form consists of 2 buttons:
SAVE and CLOSE, as well as a 30 second timer)
If you clicked "CLOSE" OR if the timer reached zero,
the recording will not have have saved.
