Try the following:
Your Tap:
Teletap:
Connection: Mic on PC (handset and base).
Soundcard: The TeleTap uses the soundcard of the PC.
Close Onyx and do a test recording with Windows Sound
Recorder. If you are unable to record you might have to
update your drivers or use another soundcard.
USB Tap:
Connection: USB port (handset and base).
Soundcard: The USB Tap has its own soundcard.
Analog Tap:
Connection: Mic on PC (between the telephone unit
and telephone line connection).
Soundcard: The SLVR Tap uses the soundcard of the PC.
Close Onyx and do a test recording with Windows Sound
Recorder. If you are unable to record you might have to
update your drivers or use another soundcard.
Onyx Software:
To ensure that your Onyx file is not damaged,
Close Onyx and re-install it again.
