***AVR (Active Voice recorder) has been discontinued and replaced with ONYX. Please contact your dealer for upgrade options.***

To start the AVR double click on the executable or the shortcut.

At the top left there is a play and stop button.
If you click on the play button and it turns grey,
the AVR will start recording when the trigger level is exceeded.
The trigger level is the red and yellow bar in the middle,
adjust this bar to let the recordings start at the correct noise level.
The stop button will stop the AVR from recording automatically.

On the top right hand side there is a play, stop and question mark button.
This is for playback of a recording:
- First click on the question mark
- and choose a recording to play.
- Click the play button to listen to the recording
- and stop to stop playback.

If the play button is green, it is not receiving a recording.
Check in the log file for a error, C:\Program Files\Datatex\AVR.
