ONYX can now record either automatically or manually.
You have the choice to enable Manual Mode:
On the Settings Page - [Save section]
a new entry is added "Manually START and STOP recording".
When you save this setting, two buttons will appear on
the form "START" and "STOP". ONYX will only record once
you click on the "START" button. Thus disregards the
triggering of sound completely.
Also you can start and stop a recording by right-clicking
on the ONYX icon on your system tray and choosing the
"Start recording" and "Stop recording" options. These
options are only enabled when the "Manual" option on
the "Settings" page was enabled.
Note:
When the button on the form is grey, the button
is disabled.
Since you are in full control in manual mode,
the silence and wrapup time has no effect.
Previous features worth mentioning again:
"Prompt to Save recording" [Save section]
When you choose this option, you have the
choice to save a recording. At the end of a
recording, the prompt will ask whether you
want to save or not. Also when the timer reaches
zero, the recording will be discarded if you did
not click on the "Save" button.
"Automatically print recording details after
call" [Save section]
A page with the recording detail (date, time,
reference number, username, notes etc.) will
be printed to the default printer at the end
of each recording if this option is enabled.
