- When a recording is made in ONYX, ONYX will always update the
- Date and time
- Extension (enter under 'Settings', if network settings used)
- Duration
- Reference (recording reference number)
- While on the recording you can enter the following additional call data manually under the recording tab.
Information entered in ONYX:- Subject
- Destination
- Number
- Notes
- Number
If the PABX has CLI, then incoming calls will also have a telephone number. - Destination
If the telephone number in TOPAZ under DATA -> NUMBERS,
was linked to a Person or Company or Group, this value will be displayed under Destination. Else the exchange will show.

To receive call data from TOPAZ(Telephone Management System - TMS), you must enable it under 'Settings', tick 'Enable TOPAZ connection'.

- NOTE: PABX3 must send call details live to TOPAZ
TOPAZ -> SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> PABX, click on GET PABX INFO...
button. It must display information of PABX3 and the PABX in the block
below the GET PABX INFO... button.
Go to the TOPAZ screen Under ENQUERIES -> ALL CALLS,make a test call
and terminate the call. The call details must be update the grid for
ALL CALLS.
Do not proceed unless you have call details updating live in TOPAZ

TOPAZ:
SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> NETWORK & FRONT OFFICE, tick
TOPAZ( port 25000)
PABX3(port 25001)
AMETHYST CALL RECORDER( port 27002)
ONYX2: For call details from TOPAZ configure port 27000 instead of 27002.
DATA -> EXTENSION, for AMETHYST IP enter the IP address of the ONYX PC
ONYX:
Under 'Settings', tick 'Enable TOPAZ connection'.
Make an outgoing test call from the ONYX extension. Search
for the recording in ONYX and see if it has call details as
explained above.
