How do I connect the Analog card to record the extension/line/radio
Required:

  1. LD409
    Analogue recording card.
    2 x 4m off-white flat telephone cables with 4 wires,
    RJ-12/14 connector on one end,
    only 2 inner pairs connected.
  2. LD809
    Analogue recording card.
    4 x 4m off-white flat telephone cables with 4 wires,
    RJ-12/14 connector on one end,
    only 2 inner pairs connected.
  3. LD2409
Analogue recording card.
1 x 50-core round black or white cable,
centronics 50 pin male connector on one end
Looks like a printer cable connector.

Connecting to:

  1. an extension.

Each 4-wire cable is used to connect two extensions.

One side of the cable connects to the recording card and
the other sides splits to connect to the two extension.

The 2 inside wires and the 2 outside wires each represents an extension.
You must tap this into the Krone block for the extension that you
    want to record.

  2. a line.

Connect the pairs to the lines on the MDF, instead of the extensions.
The two inside pairs is the first channel and the two outside pairs is the 2nd channel.

It has been noted that on the Telkom ISDN the pairs are swopped.
Therefore the first pair is the second line and the second pair is the first line, ...

When using AMETHYST 1.5.5.0 or newer, you need to do setup in Webadmin,
    under 'Card Configuration' select
'Set all channels for slot configuration'. Set it to 'line' recording.

  3. a radio.

    • The same procedure as above is followed, except connect the card to
the speaker and microphone. The Radio must supply a 2 wire output where
the speaker and microphone sound has already been mixed together.
    • Each radio will use one pair of wires meaning that you can record 2 radios
on each port of the card.
    • ONYXPlus must be set to type VOX.
