Windows 7 updates reverted settings

Please note that Windows 7 sometimes revert the settings for the usb tap.
Right click on the volume icon and click on recording as per below.

Check for the usb audio codec device and double click.
Then

microphone boost.png

Corrected the boost to between 1-5

Then

mono to stereo 2 channel.png

Correct the mono to stereo cd quality

Also restart the machine thereafter.
