RUBY pop up error: Supervisor: error getting file attributes of .ini file

  • Check if you have full control over the 'Datatex' folder and that the folder is not 'Read Only'.
  • Go to C:\Program Files\Datatex\Ruby2\RubySup and check if the .INI file is in the location.
  • If the file is not in the above specified location, you will need to recreate the .INI file.
  • You need to use Notepad to create the .ini file.
  • Close RUBY Supervisor
  • Also try creating a new RUBY shortcut. From the RUBY2 directory.
This is an example of the RubySup.ini

Code: Select all
[SUPERVISOR]
ServerHost=enter the server IP
ServerPort=20000
ListenPort=20001
FlashHistory=60
ID=ADMIN
Password=
LogFile=C:\Program Files\Datatex\Ruby2\Logs\200446\RubySup.log
DBLocation=
[SETTINGS]
pnlStatusLeft=0
pnlStatusTop=484
pnlStatusRight=1272
pnlStatusBottom=818
pnlGroupStatusLeft=0
pnlGroupStatusTop=0
pnlGroupStatusRight=1272
pnlGroupStatusBottom=167

Save the .INI file as RubySup.ini to C:\Program Files\Datatex\Ruby2\RubySup
Now you can open RUBY Supervisor.

Please note that this is an example of an ini file. The one you create will contain your settings and specific information.
