Ruby Supervisor: Unable to locate host
Posted: Mon Sep 05, 2011 8:58 pmIf you upgrading from an older version of Firbird to a newer version, please ensure that the GDS32.dll is removed from the folders where RUBY is running from. This includes the Supervisor.
Replace the GDS32.dll file with the FBCLIENT.DLL that comes with the newer version of Firebird.
If the old version of the GDS32.dll is left in place, you may get an error message like this:
