What does the reference file in Call Monitor do?

The reference file is the file where the reference list is stored
(reference codes in the drop-down box when a call ended).

You can create your own list and have all the users reference it:

Create a text file in a central location (server)
and enter the reference list you want. You must place this file
where all the Call Monitor users has access to it over the network.

example: filename: Reference.list

TOPAZ
RUBY
AMETHYST
JADE
EMERALD
SALES
ADMIN

Now open the Call Monitor and go to Setup. In the "General" block,
change the reference path to point to the text file you just created.

Please Note:

This needs to be done for all the users.

The reference file will be read in once a day. If you update the
reference file, you need to refresh each call monitor agent to get
the latest version.

Right-click on the Call Monitor icon, choose show, in the
"Information" block in the blue section at the bottom of the screen,
click on "Refresh Reference File", to force the update.
