Calculate call cost to one Branch

Try one of the following as a base for your reports per branch:

Custom Report grouped by phone number to a branch:

This is the quickest to setup.

To create a new report, click on REPORTS > CUSTOM REPORTS
Click on the "+", now enter your report heading under Description,
example Call Cost to Durban Branch.

Report options : Summary
Select records : Today
Summary Report Formats : Call category
Order by : Group
Group by : Number
Maximum Records : 0 (for all records)
Field Selection : Number, like, 031710%
(all numbers starting with 031710 will be in report,
use all the digit that will be the same for all
numbers to that branch).

*** This report is only as accurate as the field selection number you use for
your selection!!! Example number starting with 031710 will include all calls
to that area in your report.

You can group all the telephone numbers of your other branch together:

- Get a list of all the telephone numbers
- Now group them together
In TOPAZ > DATA > NUMBERS > Enter the branch name in the GROUP field
(Make sure that the spelling of the branch matches for all the phone numbers.)
- Now you need to update the TRAN file with the GROUP information.
In TOPAZ > DATA > NUMBERS > Click on Update TRX File ...
(This will update all the Numbers with blank Group fields with the new Group
value).
- Once this has all been setup correct, we can pull the following report:

Report options : Summary
Select records : Today
Summary Report Formats : Call category
Order by : Group
Group by : Group
Maximum Records : 0 (for all records)
Field Selection : Group, =, enter the Group Name
(Make sure that the spelling matches that in
DATA > NUMBERS > GROUP)

When you have finished the report and you want to save the report settings for future
use, click on the tick on the navigation bar.
