Overview:
The user need to be setup under his/her branch/department/section
and link to either the account code or the extension. TOPAZ will
add the extensions and the account codes as they are being used.
This information is provided by the PABX and translated with the
plugin used in PABX3.
How do I setup the users in TOPAZ?:
Click on "Timer On", to set the timer off.
First setup all:
branches
DATA -> LOOKUPS -> BRANCHES
departments
DATA -> LOOKUPS -> DEPARTMENT
sections
DATA -> LOOKUPS -> SECTION
Steps:
Click on the "+".
Add the branch/department/section name.
Click on the tick to save
Repeat for each user:
Click on the "+".
Add the User name.
Select from the drop down, the branch/department/section.
Click on the tick to save
Now you need to link this user to either an account code
or an extension.
Go to DATA -> EXTENSIONS or ACCOUNT.
Enter the EXTENSION or ACCOUNT number next to the "Find"
button and click on "Find". If found, it will display the
extension/account code number under the navigation bar, else
you need to add it by click on the "+" and then entering the
extension/account code next to "extension/code".
If no details was attached to the extension/account code,
then you simply select the user. The branch and department
and section will be updated automatically (but only if all
these fields are blank).
Once the user has been added, click on "Timer Off", to set it timer on.
else TOPAZ will not be loading in any calls.
