Please note that the TOPAZ Center and TOPAZ cannot be running simultaneously.
Close TOPAZ
Open the TOPAZ center.
Select the folder under the "ARCHIVES" section
Once selected you will be able to see the date range of the archive
by looking to the right of the screen in the "Up to this date section"
Please note the location of the folder in the "Data location" section.
The above is to check which folder you want to update.
Close TOPAZ Centre.
Go to C:\program files\datatex\topaz\data
Copy all of the following files from the data folder:
- Accounts*
- Branch*
- Department*
- Extensions*
- Section*
- Users*
- Userdetail*
Go to C:\program files\datatex\topaz center\archives (Default location for
archived data)
Here you will see all your archived data folders (The folder will be named
according to the date of the archive, example 20062)
You need to paste the copied data files into the archive folders you wish
to update.
Make sure the folder is not 'read only' or else it will not be able to
update.
Open an archive from the TOPAZ centre.
Once logged in to TOPAZ do an update TRX.
Go to Data -> Users and click on the update TRX file tab.
Select a date from which you would like TOPAZ to update the call data with the
information.
Update TRX will only update blank fields, If the fields already have values it
will not replace them.
If when you open an archive from the TOPAZ center you get error messages, set the version back in the Topaz.ini file:
Go to C:\program files\datatex\topaz\topaz.ini
Set the version back to 1.7.0.0
Save the change.
Then open the archive from the TOPAZ center again, and click abort
to all error messages.
Login to TOPAZ.
