Please check the following
When using the SS40 modem buffer to dial into the PABX make sure that the modemlog2file
programme is installed. Download this programme from www.suesound.com.
Things to check:
The modemlog2 file creates a folder on the C: drive using the name you have chosen
for the buffer. The rawdata from the PABX is located here. Make sure that your PABX3
File input setup is using this location.
Make sure that the buffer time stamp is disabled on the buffer.
When the time stamp is disabled, the modemlog2file programme takes the date and time
from the rawdata and moves it to the end of the data string by default, instead of in
the front.
PABX3 will not be able to import the data if this is the case. To change this
setting, open the modemlog2file programme and click on SETUP -> MODEMS, you will
see a section in the middle of this window called 'Date and Time storage'.
Tick 'In front of record'. This will move the date and time to the begining of
the data string.
The modemlog2file programme creates the rawdata in log format by default, this must
be changed to txt format. In the modemlog2file programme click on 'SETUP -> MODEMS'.
At the bottom of this window there is a section where you stipulate the filename and the
extension, by default this is 'log.log'. Simply click in this area and type the
name 'Rawdata.txt'.
In the same window, go to the section 'File Storage mode' and select the option
'Filename.ext'
Once all the above settings have been checked and configured, PABX3 will be able to import
the rawdata using the plugin for your PABX.
