Using TOPAZ with a new Windows user

Overview:

TOPAZ is registered under the Windows user. If you create a new Windows user, you
need to register TOPAZ under this Windows user.

Required:

Windows user login and password for:
Old user
New user
Administrator
Reset serial program: Topaz.ResetSerial.Install.exe
On our website go to: [Member Area -> Login -> TOPAZ -> Topaz Reset Serial]
On the TOPAZ 1.6.0.0 CD in the EXTRAS folder

Steps:

Login as the Old Windows user:

Remove PABX3 and TOPAZ from the startup.
Run the reset serial program.
You can run the program, click INSTALL, then ACCEPT and NO TO ALL.
Click on Reset, then Close.Logout as this user.
Login as the Administrator:

Give the new Windows login full control over the Datatex folder.

Make sure that the Datatex folder is not read-only.
Logout as administrator.

Login as the new Windows user:

Put PABX3 in the startup.
Put TOPAZ in the startup (if required).
Run the reset serial program and re-register TOPAZ.
