Configuring the NEC

The following must be set on teh PABX for a successful TCP connection.

TCP port by default is 4000.

Once this has been configured on the PABX, proceed to PABX 3:

In PABX3, go to Options -> Network.
-Enable TCP connect
-Enter the PABX IP
-Enter the PABX port
-Enter the login and password for the PABX if applicable.

Save these settings and PABX3 will establish a TCP connection to the PABX.


Please note that a TCP conenction is dependant on the network and ports can be blocked by firewalls etc.

The above is all that is required for PABX to connect via TCP to the PABX.
