I get an error: 10038: Socket operation on non-socket when starting Topaz

  1. When we had this problem, the cause was a faulty network setup on the PC.
Multiple network cards were found under the network configuration.
Removing all the faulty entries and rebooting corrected the problem.
  2. We also had this error because the MacAuther anti-virus software thinks
TOPAZ and PABX3 is trying to connect to the internet. You must get the
IT Department to set the MacAuther anti-virus software to allow TOPAZ and PABX3 to
communicate with each other. In the Firewall allow TOPAZ and PABX3.
  3. Check if the TCPIP is working:TOPAZ: TCPIP
  4. TOPAZ on a stand-alone-pc:
networking disable in Topaz
SETUP > PROPERTIES > NETWORK/FRONT OFFICE : untick
networking disable in PABX3:
OPTIONS > NETWORK : untick network enable
