PABX3 will open a TCP connection to the buffer/PBX to receive data.
This is when PABX3 connects to the buffer/PBX via a TCP connection and the buffer/PBX
sends data via that connection to PABX3.
Settings under PABX3:
- Goto PABX3 -> OPTIONS -> NETWORK
- tick "Enable Network"
- enter the "listen port" (Default: 25001)
- enter the TOPAZ IP and port (Default: 127.0.0.1 and 25000)
- tick "Enable TCP connect"
(This follwoing information should be available from the buffer suppliers) - enter the IP address of the PABX/buffer
- enter the port number that the PABX/buffer is listening on (default 25100).
(In some cases a single command or password has to be given on initial connection.
If so do the following as well) - enter the password or command in the password box.
a command to instruct the buffer to start sending off the data.
PABX3 listens(waits) for the buffer to send data to it:
PABX3 will wait for the buffer to establish a TCP connection with it and then
send data to the specified TCP listen port.
This is when the PABX3 opens a TCP session
on the specified IP address and port number and waits
to receive data from the PABX unit.
Settings under PABX3:
In PABX3 -> OPTION -> NETWORK
- tick "Enable Network"
- enter the "listen port" (Default: 25001)
- enter the TOPAZ IP and port (Default: 127.0.0.1 and 25000)
- tick "Enable TCP SMDR port (listen only)"
This is supplied by the buffer/PBX supplier or technician. This value
is set on the buffer.
