"error with serial number from ip xxxx" after TOPAZ login

  • Login into Windows with the Windows user who will be working
    on TOPAZ. Ensure that this Windows user has the access right
    needed to run TOPAZ.

    1. Right to delete from the registry.
    2. Full control over the Datatex folder
      ALSO SEE:Access right under XP and 2000
  • Close TOPAZ and all Client TOPAZ programs on the network.
  • Run the RESET SERIAL executable from your data folder:
    C:\Program Files\Datatex\Topaz\Data
  • Ensure that there is a valid serial number
    in the SETUP => PROPERTIES => LICENCE section.
  • Now re-register your TOPAZ by faxing the registration
    form to DATATEX.

    NOTE:
    The registration must be done on your
    MASTER TOPAZ PC.
