OVERVIEW
The baudrate used below is an example, baudrates can vary between PABX's.
UTMS Buffer
- The PABX sends off data at a baudrate of 2400 to the buffer.
The PABX technician can configure this. - The buffer then receives the data at 2400.
SB 2400 - This command will set the PABX baudrate - The buffer send it at a baudrate of 2400 to the PC.
SP 2400 - This command will set the PC baudrate - The PC receives the data at a speed of 2400 from the buffer.
In PABX-> Options-> Communications-> Serial line section -> Baudrate
UTMS buffer Programming Commands typed in VT100 - SB 2400 - This command will set the PABX baudrate
- SP 2400 - This command will set the PC baudrate
Nikon Buffer - The PABX sends off data at a baudrate of 2400 to the buffer.
The PABX technician can configure this. - The buffer receives at 2400 baudrate.
In PABX3 -> TOOLS -> VT100 -> Configure Topaz Buffer -> PABX baudrate - The buffer send it at a baudrate of 2400 to the PC.
In PABX3 -> TOOLS -> VT100 -> Configure Topaz Buffer -> PC baudrate - The PC receives the data at a speed of 2400 from the buffer.
In PABX3-> Options-> Communications-> Serial line section -> Buadrate
Programming Commands typed in VT100 - /PO1 2400 - This command will set the PBX baudrate
- /PO1? - This command will return to the current baudrate
Please Note: The baudrate the PABX sends off data is configured by the PABX technican.
Any commands for the Pabx is typed in VT100.
To test the buffer use the Bufftest programme on the Topaz cd in the Utils folder.
