- Scenario 1:
I can see that the buffer receives calls(rx light flashes).
When I open PABX3 (Right-click on the white telephone and select show), I can see in the bottom right-hand corner of PABX3 it scrolls the call details, but it does not display under CALL DATA in PABX3.
Solution:
Your PABX3 cannot translate the call data/rawdata received. This can be either because you use the wrong plugin or if your rawdata is not in the standard format for the plugin or if you pabx.prf file has corrupted.
- Check that the correct plugin is selected:
OPTIONS -> FILE PATHS. Next to PABX DLL it must show the plugin name.
If not, click on the yellow folder icon and navigate to:
C:\Program Files\datatex\pabx3\profiles\lib
select the required plugin, click on OPEN and then SAVE.
- If you now get the error message CANNOT CREATE LOG file see forum post:
PABX3 error: "cannot create log file"
- If the correct plugin was selected, search the forum post for an example of the rawdata to ensure it is in the correct format.
Also check that you are using the plugin version number suggested by forum post.
NOTE: The pabx.prf file can corrupt if there was a power failure or power dip or the PC power was cut or PC just switched off. If you have regular power failures, we suggest a UPS that is set to do a Windows shutdown before the UPS power runs out.
- Scenario 2:
Call details is not updating to TOPAZ.
Suggestion:
Please check in the bottom right-hand corner for the white telephone. If not displayed, either the icon crashed or PABX3 is not running. If no white phone, open Task Manager and end task all instances of PABX3. Once one PABX3 is running, go to the startup option and open PABX3.
If no PABX shortcut, please create one for:
C:\Program Files\datatex\pabx3\pabx3.exe
- Scenario 3:
Not all my calls show/missing data on report
- Scenario 4:
How do I update my Topaz calls live?
